Islamic law of Inheritance is divine law that governs the Muslim's life similar to the other laws of water, earth, sky, creatures, universe, paradise, and beyond undiscoverable to us. Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallama) first interpreted the Islamic inheritance law.
Later on, it was carried over by companions of the Prophet. A further interpretation was completed by scholars of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence schools (i.e., Hanafi, Shafii, Maliki, and Hanbali). The Islamic Inheritance law is firmly established through all four sources; the Holy Quran, Sunnah, Ejma (i.e., the consensus of companions), and Qiyas (i.e., analogical deductions through reasoning). The "Qiyas" was used as a last source if other sources were impossible.
The majority of the world community considers the Muslim succession law to be complex and not easy to understand, even though the people of the desert in Arabia had well understood when there was a lack of skills, tools, and resources.
Many professionals and scholars also have this misconception, unfortunately.
